AVAILABILITY
1

On stock

Many products are on stock or there is some stock of the most popular sizes (rings), which means they can be shipped the next working day and new stock can be produced quickly. In case a certain size is out of stock when you place an order, you will be notified immediately. Items on stock are still unique and every piece has been handmade by me behind my workbench.

Made on backorder

When an item or a size is not in stock, it is available on backorder. It means that when you place an order I start with making it in your chosen size right away. It takes up to 7 or 10 days to produce an ordered jewelry piece. I always do my best, so you can have your piece as soon as possible.

925 STERLING SILVER

All jewelry pieces in the shop are strictly 925 Sterling Silver. I sometimes use other materials to make the initial moulds, like copper or metal or brass, but my final product is always 925 Sterling Silver base.

925 Sterling Silver means your jewelry has 92,5% of pure silver and 7,5% of other metals (like copper). This alloy makes it possible for material to be formed into jewelry and also ensures the required hardness of the jewelry pieces, since pure silver metal is too soft.

Basically, it means that you are buying your jewelry in precious metal and it will last you a long time.

CARE AND CLEANING

Silver is long lasting precious metal, however, don’t forget that it is natural for sterling silver to oxidize in time since it is H2O and air (sulphur mostly) sensitive. Oxidization is seen as mat dark tarnish. Wearing it frequently actually keeps sterling silver from oxidizing faster, but it will happen eventually.

CARE:

Avoid water and chemicals, perfumes, hand sanitizers and keep the ring in the original pouch for as long as you can, to keep oxygen at bay. Take off your jewelry while washing hands or taking a shower.

CLEANING:

This is what you can do at home to take some of the tarnish off: melt baking soda in hot water. Place a large piece of aluminium foil at the bottom of the cup (use an inside of an old toothpaste or cream tube or perhaps you just ate a chocolate wrapped in alu foil) and dip your jewelry in the mixture so that the jewelry is touching the aluminium foil. After a few minutes scrub the jewelry with a soft toothbrush and detergent under hot water. Rinse under running water and thoroughly dry of.

*Be careful if your piece has any small parts, chains or fastenings that might get damaged while scrubbing. If your piece has been oxidized intentionally, you might also loose some of the blackened surface effect. In this case, skip the baking soda part and go right to soft detergent scrubbing.
