MY VIBE

This is me, in front of my workbench. This is where I spend most of my time creating your jewelry, learning, destroying, heavy-duty working, filing, cutting, soldering but most of all, enjoying.

Once a marketing enthusiast and a member of the corporate working force, I have recently decided to mark 2020 with a new beginning and switch my work-with-hobby into hobby-for-work. In the long run do something with a positive impact on this world. Finally!

Making jewelry has always been my interest and love. If you knew me, chances are, I surprised you with a piece of handmade jewery at some point during our friendship.

I first started to work with sterling silver a few years ago and gained majority of my hardcore workbench knowledge under the mentorship of contemporary craft jeweller Martina Obid, MOM Jewelry, in Ljubljana. She taught me that all jewelry is a way of self-expression, that precision and persistence are highly rewarded and that finding serenity in your environment always opens new creative doors. (Thank you for everything Martina, I love your soul.)

I am no fan of ordinary run of the mill jewelry pieces. If that is what you are searching for, it’s fine, but here is where we better part ways.

What you’ll find here is different. It’s intriguing, you will have to explain to people where you got it from, what the hell it means and what on earth it stands for. You might have to endure strange and surprising looks and faces; you’ll probably even be judged by your appearance first.

Sanda Vidmar Jewelry style combines contemporary and handmade, makes unordinary shapes wearable and portrays real, life-like natural forms. Every piece of jewelry has a story behind it and offers a way of connecting with the innitial meaning.

I currently design and produce 925 sterling silver based jewelry. All pieces are handmade or handcrafted which basically means I design, fabricate and finish every piece.

Every jewelry piece I design conveys a personal meaning and hopefully inspires you to trust and believe in your own voice, have courage to follow your instincts and most of all, accept and love who you are.
